The scope for the theatre was to upgrade the video system, including a new 4K projector video routing over the client network, as well as a new, more user-friendly control system that is also flexible for third-party events when they need to bring outside operators.

One of the interesting technology decisions here was to integrate with AI camera tracking using Seervision, allowing presenters to be followed around the stage without the need for an operator.

One of the challenges we faced was the short turnaround time – we had one week to pull apart and re-install the whole system.

ASX required an upgrade to their premium event space, where they host stock launches, media appearances and important corporate functions. Syndeticom worked with ASX to develop a detailed scope of works giving their stakeholders the confidence to engage us to deliver this exciting project.

The AV system incorporates two large videowalls, with an AV over IP video and audio distribution system allowing flexible orientations to be achieved. A sophisticated audio system featuring steerable column array speakers provides high speech intelligibility and allows for the coverage to be automatically adjusted depending on the size of the event and the orientation of the stage.

We provided Audio Visual systems for a new permanent exhibition at the Australian National Maritime Museum. An initial design was provided to Syndeticom, and through careful engineering, certain aspects were deemed not fit for purpose. Syndeticom offered samples to demonstrate the performance of different pieces of equipment and provided a new design that met all artistic expectations.

The space posed several unique challenges, including logarithmic curved floor to ceiling projection screens, requiring careful engineering of projector locations. It also included spaces with audio playback divided by fabric walls, which required careful sound design and balancing, challenging architectural features (such as low ceilings containing large quantities of mechanical services and projection mapping of content in 360 degrees on an uneven surface).

We’ve equipped Legacy’s major boardroom with LG 86” dual screens and a Yealink table touch panel and the kitchen space with a stunning 65” fold-out screen, we’ve upgraded their smaller boardrooms with LG’s latest slate of screens and Yealink’s video-conferencing sound bar and communication system, offering better connectivity and clarity. We’ve also supplied an Assistive Hearing solution.

The room featuring the immersion dome is also automated with occupancy sensors, which means that when the room is unoccupied the AV equipment as well as the air conditioning will automatically switch off to conserve power.

One of the most beautiful and complex screen installations, Syndeticom is proud to unveil the curved LED video wall over at Abbotsleigh Junior School’s library. A state-of-the-art upgrade, this particular screen was meticulously conceived and designed by our Audio Visual team of designers and technicians.

The video wall is a 1.8mm pixel pitch, and the room can be closed off to become a teaching space with full immersion featuring a very high-level audio system purposely built for this space.

Construction of the video wall presented a challenge given the curved nature of the project, however Syndeticom worked closely with the library’s builders and architects to ensure the project was delivered flawlessly and met the school’s expectations.
