One of the most beautiful and complex screen installations, Syndeticom is proud to unveil the curved LED video wall over at Abbotsleigh Junior School’s library. A state-of-the-art upgrade, this particular screen was meticulously conceived and designed by our Audio Visual team of designers and technicians.

The video wall is a 1.8mm pixel pitch, and the room can be closed off to become a teaching space with full immersion featuring a very high-level audio system purposely built for this space.

Construction of the video wall presented a challenge given the curved nature of the project, however Syndeticom worked closely with the library’s builders and architects to ensure the project was delivered flawlessly and met the school’s expectations.

The room featuring the immersion dome is also automated with occupancy sensors, which means that when the room is unoccupied the AV equipment as well as the air conditioning will automatically switch off to conserve power.

Syndeticom had the privilege of designing and installing the Audio Visual components along with some of the building management integrations in Abbotsleigh Senior College’s new Science Building. The project was designed collaboratively with Abbotsleigh Senior College to ensure their vision and requirements for the classrooms and building were able to be fully realised.

Part of this design involved having some of the controls for the AV equipment housed not in the classrooms themselves but in a central comms room, to improve serviceability and access from the internal management team at the school.

Smart Building elements Syndeticom implemented included occupancy sensors for the classrooms which control the AV system, air conditioning, and lighting, to automatically switch on when someone enters a classroom, and switch off again after a period of time when the room is vacated.

There is a showcase LED 2.9 pixel pitch video wall which is split over three levels, which the school can use for digital signage or to showcase various content.

In the new science labs, an Ultra Short Throw Epson projector is installed, with custom-built podium for the touch panels which controls not only the AV for the room but the lighting, blinds and audio as well. The touch panels can also control the breakout spaces for the students, which allow students to go to their own lab benches and present their own projects using individual screens with overhead audio for their breakout area.

Syndeticom recently completed Audio Visual upgrades at Loreto Normanhurst school in both the Boardroom and Presentation Room.

The Boardroom included a Microsoft Teams certified system with dual auto-tracking cameras. There is integrated lighting control as well as an intelligent beam-tracking ceiling microphone. BYOD conferencing-ready system allows any user to connect with dual HDMI inputs plus wireless content sharing.

The presentation room upgrade included integrating existing equipment with the new AV system. New features include a premium combination of wired and wireless microphones plus a high-brightness laser projector. The control system integrates with existing light systems and the setup features streaming and recording systems.

Syndeticom’s team completed a range of upgrades at St Catherine’s School Sydney, including in the Chapel, Boardroom and Food Lab areas.

The Chapel involved a new high-brightness Epson laser projector installed on a curved surface, 3d acoustic modelling and new speaker selection and locations and integrated recording and streaming systems. There are also wireless and wired control options with six channels of radio microphones and production mode enables control of all sources on the mixing console via Dante.

The Boardroom included 2 new screens as well as an auto-tracking PTZ camera, wireless presentation and intelligent ceiling microphone.

The Food Lab ugrade features a large interactive diplay along with high-mounted tv screen, a network amplifier to bring bells and alers into the room, plus hanging microphone and camera to capture the classroom for remote students.

In 2022 Syndeticom’s team completed an Audio Visual upgrade of Rosebank College’s boardroom. The upgrade included a Zoom Room System, intelligent ceiling microphone, auto-framing camera mounted beneath the TV, BYOD meetings and HDMI input in the desk.
