Structured Cabling Project Manager - Expressions of Interest, NSW or ACT
Sydney or Canberra, Full-time, Permanent
About the role

With the ongoing growth of our business, we are looking for two passionate professionals with solid experience in managing Data Centre projects, to join our Sydney and Canberra branches.

As a Project Manager, you will manage the supply and installation of projects and maintenance contracts to customer’s premises in a safe, timely and financially responsible manner. You will also support the planning, pricing, implementation, tracking and control of projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Planning and management of projects to scope, schedule, budget and resources.
  • Development and implementation of project plans to meet agreed timeframes and standards.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and management to manage expectations.
  • Liaise with and communicate between different project streams to ensure continuity.
  • Ensure the effective and timely delivery of different projects.
  • Ensure our Field Staff understand the scope of work and are equipped to provide quality outcomes to our customers.
  • Locate and allocate resources to projects and schedule their time on site.
About you
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of network connectivity
  • Experience in LAN installations
  • Trade experience
  • ACMA licence and current valid Driver’s Licence
  • Prince 2 or equivalent (highly desirable)
  • Experience in multisite rollout style projects & structured cabling

About the role

We are seeking Data Centre Technicians, with experience in installation of communications equipment and cabling, as well as termination, testing, troubleshooting, adjusting and repairing faults in equipment/cables.

Skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years related communications/cabling/electrical experience
  • Security Clearance (NV1 or Baseline highly regarded)
  • ACMA Open Cable Registration (Optic fibre and structured cabling endorsements)
  • Electrical A grade qualifications will be highly regarded
  • Current driver’s Licence
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Data centre experience

Audio Visual Supervisors/Technicians/Trainees, NSW

About the opportunity

Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking motivated Audio-Visual Technicians, with experience in Audio Visual commercial installations throughout the Corporate, Government and Education sectors.

On a day-to-day basis, you will find yourself working with a team of installation technicians to complete project tasks within the time frame agreed with management whilst providing our customers a great level of service and quality.

Skills and Experience
  • Current driver’s Licence & White Card
  • ACMA Licence / Cable termination skills
  • Experience with permanent installation of commercial audio-visual equipment.
  • Independent, reliable and can work with minimum supervision
  • Self-motivated, with excellent time management skills
  • Have a good work ethic and positive attitude
  • Willingness to travel (short periods) preferred
